Slack key master Keola Beamer, premier Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai, virtuoso jazz pianist Geoffrey Keezer, and hula master Moanalani Beamer celebrate aloha with beautiful songs from a mix of traditions as the performers share cultures and inspiration.

Community Christmas Program  Sunday, December 8 @ 4 pm

Community Christmas Spirit at the Valdez Civic Center.  Come see your friends and neighbors perform holiday inspired songs, dance, poetry, and even a dog act on stage.  This event is FREE, however, a donation of canned goods for the Valdez Food Bank is encouraged.

Founding member of the internationally renowned, Billboard-charting trio The Wailin’ Jennys, and former lead singer of the Canadian roots band Scruj MacDuhk, she has performed in sold-out venues around the world, made numerous critically-acclaimed albums, received five Juno awards nominations, and has appeared more than a dozen times on the American national radio show A Prairie Home
